Available Monday - Friday evenings for children age 5-11 years. These lessons take place at the client's home address and last for 1 hour.

Your child will undertake a variety of paper based activities and interactive learning games to help them acquire the necessary knowledge, skills and understanding of Number and of the English Language.

Tasks involve reading, writing and verbal communication. The initial session will begin with an assessment of your child's reading, writing and arithmetic in order to establish Learning Goals and a timeframe for achieving each goal.

These Learning Goals must be must meet the approval of the parent, child and the tutor before they written up as an Individual Education Plan IEP. IEPs are reviewed and adapted once every 3 months to ensure your child is making progress.

As a follow up to each session your child may be set homework. It is expected that this homework is completed in time for the next session so that his or her learning can move forward.

It may also be necessary for your child to have particular learning resources available for each session i.e. text books, calculator, writing journal etc. In this case clients can choose to purchase the identified item themselves or request the tutor to make the purchase on their behalf. All purchases made by the tutor on behalf of the client will be invoiced to the client at the following session.
